As some of you know I have started a blog solely for the purpose of accumulating as much data on our knife companies in one central location. Mainly videos, pictorials, and links. It is a group effort and is rapidly growing. I especially hope it is helpful to those new to our knives. Anyway, since I mainly post on Bladefourms I will just make one thread over here for you guys to add to at your leizure. When you add something I'll get it up and running on the blog a.s.a.p. See my threads over on BF for more detail. And please let me know if you see any errors, want something of yur removed, etc... I will keep a link on the blog to this specific thread so people can use that to add their data to. Thanks a bunch.

I just had too much coffe last night and got the ball rolling. Now everyone is helping out. So cool. This is OUR blog. Just an easy way to organize our data. Thanks for helping guys and gals.
One thing I'd love to add to the links section would be links to our local sheath makers. Especiallt the smaller ones. I could link to their homepage, their email, or whatever. Help get them business as well as a resource for those who need sheaths for their new blades. So let me know who I need to add.

Great idea! I have explained the "why can't I buy a S6 right now"? question about 100 times so it would be nice to just link them to a definitive answer.
Not to thread jack but the "knife" section of wikipedia could use some help and I would guess the Busse kin page could as well if there is one and if not their should be?

Oh yeah I read on BF(so take it with a grain of salt) that there were only 50 MOD's. I tried to do the vid of the Meaner knock off in the misc section of Tyrones site and the video posting site was infested with those awful poker party virus. Google has a hosting service that you don't need to even sign up for and has no ads.
Tyrone if you want you can link to this review I wrote on my Putfile account of my first impressions of Scrapyard and the SS4(my first knife from the Busse kin).

Another page I am rather proud of is just a little mention of a very rare Rat that is a an official Canadian forces Engineering corp knife. The owner was nice enough to give me some info and photos. They were all very impressed by how the company went out of their way to help some serving military of an allied country even though it was a very small order. They also found the knives worked quite well.
Damn fine knife ,thanks Mildot for letting me host her.

What a cool thing to do! I'm going to have to go there when I have more time and explore.
Also, I'd like to be added to the sheath makers link please. PM me if you need any info from me, Thanks.

I will need to dig around. I know there have been some great informative posts from the past on this forum, Swamp Chat and Swamp at Bladeforums.
This will be an incredible reference resource for all of us and especially convenient to send the noobs to when they start asking all the noob questions. - Will "help" save a lot of repeat posts and having to dig (as much) for old threads.
I wish whoever ran the Swamp Shack web-site would get that site back up to date (Shane?)! Apparently, not really updated for right at 2 YEARS!!!
I would love to see someone with some computer savy start a Scrap Yard site like the Swamp Shack site. Then add to The Edge!
* Anyway, the link on The Edges's page to "The Swamp" is not a great link. That link doesn't have much info and doesn't re-link to the "Swamp Shack".
You might want to replace it with: Swamp Shack The Swamp Shack link includes all the info from "The Swamp" link currently listed on "The Edge", but includes WAY more (MANY times more info)
.

rainwalker: You have been added to the "Sheaths" section.
tedwca: I added both of your wallpaper pages to the "Links" section. I will most likely make another section just for that kind of stuff if I get enough. Great stuff.
KnifeGuy: Thanks for the tip. I changed it to Swamp Shack now.
BTW: I am not really a big computer guy but felt it was finally time to get something like this rolling. I was just on the computer a lot working on my student's grades and drinking too much coffee. So I did this on my breaks.
I am sure there are tons of ways to do it better but at least this is a start. As it grows I will most likely have to change things up a bit to fit everything but at least we have a great resource started for us all and, as KnifrGuy mentioned, the new guys. And I really see it as "our" blog. Info on the knives we all love to use.So keep it coming and thanks for all the help.
